Job 2:13 Then they sat on ground w/him for 7 days,7 nights. No one said a word ...because they saw how great his suffering was
You lay on the sand, with the shadow of death stretched behind you.
Realization of Loss settles in like a railroad track that runs around your head.
Building scaffolding around you so you can comfortably start darning your life back together.
We are seeking to establish a consistent, comfortable environment in which to share with others who have suffered from traumatic loss of a loved one.
There is a lack of specific support for those who have survived the loss from suicide of a sibling, friend, mentor.
Needed: Group support for those who don't have an addict or abusive background.
Grief is its own category; not to be confused with depression.
We cannot rely on individual therapy alone. That only helps you 0.6% of the week (1 hr in 168).
We need ongoing, multi-day a week interaction with those that are walking through the Shadow of Death themselves.
We are seeking a way to build scaffolding with others who have deep grief and traumatic stress.
